Drumsheds, London’s newest cultural space, has unveiled its new, high-concept campaign for 2024 – created by Broadwick Live and featuring a colourful cast of professional bodybuilders.
The video and accompanying stills – directed in collaboration with Broadwick’s Design Director Jack Walmsley and his team, and Eoin Glaister (Stink Films) – are a bold move away from traditional seasonal music announcements, instead exploring the parallels between the art of bodybuilding and the 15,000-capacity North London venue: both are big, and Big Is Beautiful.
Drumsheds, located in an ex-industrial space in Tottenham, London, opened in October 2023 and features for its SS24 programme acts including Bonobo, Chase & Status, Adam Beyer, Shy Fx, Craig David, and Amelie Lens. Tickets go on general sale December 7th. For full line-up details and tickets go to drumshedslondon.com.
Of the campaign Jack Walmsley, Design Director at Broadwick, said: “We wanted to lean into our reputation for scale and do something weird and wonderful… DRUMSHEDS is not just a music space, it’s the one of the largest culture projects London’s ever seen. With tongues firmly in cheek we wanted to embrace our oversized standing in the industry. It’s important to remind people what it takes to deliver at this scale”.
