Sunday Night Football TV Show

Originally launched in 1987 on ESPN, Sunday Night Football (Now on NBC)  has been the top primetime show in the US for 13 years now. Audience regularly tip over 21 million for each show. So it should do as well…NBC paid $2BN for games between 2023-2033 . That includes three Superbowls in 2025, 2029 and 2033.

Players didn’t have to wear helmets till 1943

Leather helmets were introduced in the 1920’s but weren’t mandatory. It wasn’t until 1943 that this became a rule, purely for player safety as games became more frequent and the strength of players increased.

An NFL football is made of cowhide, not pigskin

Now you know.

Tom Brady

Most successful player of all time

Of course this is open to debate but most people would say that seven time Superbowl champion Tom Brady is up there.

His career started back in 2000 with the New England Patriots and spans 22 years

His regular-season win-loss record stands impressively at 243-73, highlighting a 73% winning percentage.

He’s reportedly earned well over $300 million dollars since his debut.

Told you he was good.
