FILA have announced the creation of FILA+, a new line which features an elevated take on classic sportswear. Taking inspiration from the Italian brand’s extensive archives, FILA+ presents a fresh take on iconic silhouettes with pieces that offer the ideal blend of craftsmanship and easy, everyday style.
At the same time, the brand have announced that Lev Tanju, the founder of cult streetwear label Palace, as creative director of FILA+. Of his new position, Tanju says: “FILA has such a rich and amazing history spanning over a hundred years. I was blown away by how vast the archive was, and loved all of it. The story of Pierluigi Rolando, his drive towards innovation and his groundbreaking advancements really inspired me. I was also fond of the whole Italian FILA team: they are extremely genuine and like a family.”
For FILA+, the sportswear brand have updated their iconic F-Box logo with a vivid green and a brighter shade of red against a white background – a nod to the brand’s Italian heritage and highlighting the brand’s commitment to authenticity and innovation.
The first FILA+ collection will be presented to buyers in January 2024, followed by a public and media reveal through a campaign in June 2024.
