Italian luxury fashion house Moncler have, for the third time, teamed up with Milanese football team Internazionale for a formalwear partnership designed in collaboration with American artist Daniel Arsham.
The limited run of light down jackets is crafted in Moncler’s signature quilted nylon, and bears a number of design codes, from Inter’s serpent, to Moncler’s M, and Daniel Arsham’s intersecting A’s. A broader Inter x Moncler collection for both adults and kids includes another shirt jacket, a turtleneck, a scarf, and a beanie hat featuring both the Moncler and Inter logos.
To showcase the campaign, Internazionale stars including Yann Aurel Bisseck, Matteo Darmian, Ajara Nchout, Benjamin Pavard, Flaminia Simonetti, and Marcus Thuram – as well as coach Simone Inzaghi – were shot by celebrated photographer Teo Poggi.
Of the campaign, Daniel Arsham said: “I’ve had a close relationship with the Moncler community and also developed a close relationship with Inter after meeting Steven Zhang through mutual friends. When approaching this project, I was honored to interpret Moncler and Inter’s worlds and fusing together Moncler’s logo with Inter’s legendary serpent, along with the double A logo from my studio to create a cultural object that celebrates these connections”.
The collection launches October 28th, and is available on moncler.com and in Moncler’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II boutique. On October 29th, the San Siro Stadium – home to Internazionale – will be taken over by the collaboration for the Milanese team’s game against AS Roma.
