Italian fashion house Loro Piana announce the renewal of their partnership with Team Europe at the 2023 Ryder Cup, which this year is taking place at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome from September 25th.
Since their initial collaboration with the European squad of the biennial golf tournament back in 2016, Loro Piana have continued to push the boundaries of the modern golfing uniform, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, comfort, and ingenuity – all neatly tied up with the house’s classic Italian sensibilities.
The new collection for Team Europe will be worn by the golfers and their entourage both on and off the course, and was made using an innovative 3D technology in the fabric which allows for guaranteed ease of movement through each stroke or putt.
The six looks to be worn by the squad include a short-sleeved polo with a shirt-style collar, a high-neck shirt with a zipper, a waterproof vest, and four-pocket trousers in a Rain System®-treated stretch wool.
A selection of Team Europe uniforms – complete with both the Team Europe logo and the individual players’ – will be available in the Loro Piana’s Roman boutique during the competition days.
The 2023 Ryder Cup runs from September 25th to October 1st.
