Louis Vuitton have today announced the latest chapter of their Core Values campaigns, with a still shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz and starring tennis icons Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Pictured traversing Italy’s Dolomites mountain range, the pair sport two of the French luxury brand’s durable backpacks: Federer with the Monogram Christopher backpack, and Nadal with
the Monogram Eclipse.
With the tagline, “There are Journeys that turn into Legends”, the campaign captures two of sport’s greatest ever athletes, who between them have won an incredible 42 Grand Slam titles, often engaging in exhilarating contests between each other as they navigated their superlative careers in parallel.
Of the campaign, Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton, said: “It has been 17 years since I launched the first Core Values campaign with Antoine Arnault, and I am delighted to revive this iconic series. Each Core Values chapter celebrates Louis Vuitton’s legacy of travel, of working with exceptional people, and of transmission – both physical and emotional. It has been brilliant to work with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on this new story – both inspirational athletes, fierce friends, and testaments to the discipline and excellence of their own personal sporting journeys”.
The “Core Values“ campaign will be featured in print insertions and on Louis Vuitton social channels from Saturday 18th May .
