Moncler have today announced their latest collection, designed by rapper and business mogul JAY-Z in partnership with entertainment company Roc Nation, as part of their Genius platform – which spotlights art, design, entertainment, music, sport, and culture from the world of the Italian luxury label.
Accompanying the collection is a film, directed by Irish video artists Páraic and Kevin McGloughlin and featuring music from The Book of Clarence (JAY-Z’s 2023 biblical comedy-drama) and narrated by artist SAINt Jhn, which champions the idea that genius is everywhere.
The Moncler x Roc Nation collection designed by JAY-Z features puffer jackets, overshirts, and wool tees in muted whites, khakis, and blacks – and was conceived as a set of modular elements in much the same way that samples make up a complete musical track.
