Moncler Grenoble: Redefining Mountain Performance Wear
Moncler Grenoble’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection proves that technical sportswear can be both functional and avant-garde. Unveiled in the moonlit forests of St. Moritz, the line seamlessly blends high-performance outdoor technology with sophisticated design.
Technical Innovation Meets Aesthetic Excellence
The collection challenges traditional ski wear through unexpected fabric choices. Technical corduroy and wool flannel transform traditional skiwear, offering waterproof, windproof, and breathable garments that don’t compromise on style. Women’s pieces feature intricate folk-art embroidery and graphic snowflake-inspired quilting, while men’s jackets showcase diamond and chevron patterns mimicking ice formations.
Athlete-Driven Design
World champions Lucas Pinheiro Braathen, Shaun White (who was previously featured in Issue 06 of CircleZeroEight), and Perrine Laffont collaborated on the collection, ensuring genuine performance credibility. A standout collaboration is the limited-edition Montano snowboard by Shaun White, engineered with a premium wood core and ultra-dense fiberglass for maximum mountain performance.
Photographed by Mario Sorrenti against Zermatt’s dramatic peaks, the campaign captures the collection’s dual spirit: extreme technical capability merged with high-end design.
