For their latest collection, Stone Island launch a monochrome collection inspired by the art of reduction. In a series of images photographed by David Sims and artistically directed by Ferdinando Verderi, actor Jason Statham, director Ken-Tonio Yamamoto, and architect Heidulf Gerngross model the Italian brand’s new, sleek capsule.
The collection focusses on two distinct fabrics: Cupro Raso, which is composed of a silky cotton fibre, and O-VENTILE, a compact fabric prized in military uniforms for its breathability and water resistance. The Cupro Raso is cut into a zip-up bomber jacket, whilst O-VENTILE is featured across trench coats and field jackets with kimono sleeves.
Each Ghost piece plays with the proportions and volume of its fabric, and is inspired by camouflage – with the iconic Stone Island badge recreated in special mono-colour. Ghost Pieces ‘024 is available now.
